Set in a dark, gloomy Victorian-era England, Echo’s Cry follows Echo as they uncover the lost power of playing music in a twisted, fallen world. After discovering a forgotten instrument hidden deep within their home, Echo begins a mystical journey to learn new musical abilities with each instrument unlocked.
Armed with this newfound knowledge, players battle the demons that have overtaken Echo’s home village, threatening to erase all music from the world. Combat is driven by rhythmic timing, chaining heavy and light attacks together while mastering precise dashes to evade incoming strikes. Forge and upgrade weapons with powerful passive abilities to slice through even greater enemies. Collect and spend hard-earned currency at the shopkeeper to build an arsenal of magical potions and shields to aid in your battles.
Blending wave-based hack-and-slash action with rhythm-game precision, Echo’s Cry delivers the thrill of cutting through hordes of enemies alongside the satisfaction of perfectly timed inputs, all set to a beautifully produced orchestral soundtrack.
